About Me

Welcome to Inspire, Dream, Create!   I am Nichole, and I am a 4th grade teacher, wife, mom, blog-loving, Pinterest and Teacher's Pay Teachers addict and the writer of this blog!  I have a true passion for engaging all of my students, whether they are middle schoolers, or adults in differentiated activities.  I am happy to share my thoughts on education with you here!

I have been teaching for over 18 years and have taught first grade through college level.  I always say I have yet to work a day in my life because for me, teaching is truly my passion.  My goal for everything I do is to inspire you to dream the unimaginable and then create something spectacular with your new knowledge.

I have an undergraduate degree in PreK-6th with a concentration in geography from Cortland State University in New York.  I also have a master's degree in Reading, K-12 and a specialization in special education from Elmira College in New York.  I spent the first 7 years of my career teaching in a rural school district.  While teaching there, I had the most amazing mentor, Linda Sugnet, who provided me with the right foundation that still guides my teaching today.

The past 13 years I have taught in a suburban community in Colorado in a K-8 building .  Though I miss New York, I truly love raising my family in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

My world! My family!

Life is good!

I am so blessed!
