I have been teaching for over 18 years and have taught first grade through college level. I always say I have yet to work a day in my life because for me, teaching is truly my passion. My goal for everything I do is to inspire you to dream the unimaginable and then create something spectacular with your new knowledge.
I have an undergraduate degree in PreK-6th with a concentration in geography from Cortland State University in New York. I also have a master's degree in Reading, K-12 and a specialization in special education from Elmira College in New York. I spent the first 7 years of my career teaching in a rural school district. While teaching there, I had the most amazing mentor, Linda Sugnet, who provided me with the right foundation that still guides my teaching today.
The past 13 years I have taught in a suburban community in Colorado in a K-8 building . Though I miss New York, I truly love raising my family in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
So excited to view your blog!!! Awesome!
